My Girls

My daughters are hams.  No wonder when you have a father who loves taking photos.  And they're such beautiful models.  These are taken Christmas Day 2009.  Taken with an EOS 40D and a 430 EX Flash pointed straight at the ceiling with the wide angle grid pointed straight up as well.  I really like the way the flash used in that manner lit the subjects.  The tree is not over exposed, the lighting on the girls looks natural, but maybe that's just me.

Cornucopia

This is a Cornucopia displayed at the church we attend.  I was so taken it by it, I was planning my shoot during the service (embarrassed)!!  Of all the shots I took, these were the best.  I used timed exposures and shot using late afternoon, natural lighting streaming through the stained glass windows.
